TrakSYS™ Architecture TrakSYS™ is designed to leverage your existing investment in factory floor automation, which minimizes the need for additional and costly hardware to capture your information.
TrakSYS™ deployment does not require any database programming or automation
systems programming; it comes with an easy-to-use interface to model your
factory, define the efficiency measurements and events to track, and define the
level of operator involvement desired (if any).
TrakSYS™ does not require visualization software, such as a third-party Human-Machine-Interface (HMI), but it integrates well with such applications (e.g., Wonderware's InTouch, Intellution's iFix and Fix32, Rockwell Software's RS-View, and others). TrakSYS™ runs on a standard server on the factory floor network. Its components communicate with your automation systems, various databases, discrete controllers, sensors, and operators to track, record and analyze user-defined events, and provide automatically generated real-time and secure web reports to authorized users. The following is a sample TrakSYS™ architecture:
TrakSYS™ is a suite of integrated applications that provide the advanced real-time performance management capabilities that are crucial in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, OEE and other KPI-based Continuous Improvement initiatives. In order to achieve the Lean and Continuous Improvement goals, collaboration -- specifically delivery of real-time information to the right people -- is of great importance. As such, TrakSYS™ leverages Microsoft Office productivity suite to maximize the effective and reliable distribution of pertinent information.
TrakSYS™ is built on Microsoft’s .Net technology with Microsoft SQL Server™ 2005 as its database engine. Through the use of powerful features, we have significantly improved business decision-making and delivery of personalized and collaborative business intelligence. The new platform delivers enhanced performance and mission critical reliability. Security has been revamped with more administrative controls and safeguards against unauthorized access.
